What makes the Fires de Sant Narcís de Girona so special?

The Girona Fair 2023 will take place between Friday 27 October and Sunday 5 November. For 10 intense days, the city will honor Sant Narcís with a program that includes more than 200 activities.

The starting point will once again be the fair hall, which will be located in Plaça del Vi. It will be accompanied by traditional proposals such as giant dances and festive imagery. As usual, the parades, the Mula Baba, the firefight, the matinees and the Festa Major dels 4 Rius, on this renewed occasion, will follow.

Thus, the Toc de rams and vermouth on Saturday 21 October constitutes a preview with a parade, change of bouquets and dance of giants included. Giants and tadpoles are among the main protagonists of these festivities, as their tours are well-followed by the public. From October 27, your presence is guaranteed throughout the city.

Precisely, this Friday the 27th, the famous, and always busy, fair announcement will be held. It will take place in Plaça del Vi and will be preceded, from 19:15, by square dances. At 20:00, the heralds will be Marta Xargay, Laia Palau and Noemí Jordana. The shower of flies to the touch of the rockets and the ring of fire will complete the official show to start the festivities.
